Longard Log                                  Building Bridges from the Local Church to the Soul of it's Community December 2012 2013 will bring some exciting new changes for our ministry. Over the past year we have mentioned an organization named Christian Associates International on a couple of occasions.  Christian Associates is a non-denominational missions agency that promotes missional initiatives and church plants in Europe, North America, and South America similar to the work we currently do here in Indianapolis.  In getting to know people from this organization, we've come to appreciate the heart of their ministry and the passion they have for bringing the life of Christ to people on the margins of society. As we've prayed about the long-term vision for the work we do as Village Soul and explored different options for fulfilling it, we've decided to bring our ministry organizationally under the umbrella of Christian Associates effective January 1. This move will give us a broader platform and support network to promote the work we do while maintaining our personal relationship with the Assemblies of God and Franklin Park Church.  It will also free us from having to manage many of the administrative details of our ministry and free us to focus more on the people we serve. This change will bring some practical changes for our regular financial supporters in terms of where donations for our ministry are sent in the future.  Below you will find instructions for where to send donations over the next two months and beyond.  I will also make a call to all of our monthly donors to answer any questions regarding the change. If you would like to make a year-end donation to our ministry this would be a great blessing by helping us establish a buffer in our Christian Associates account and cover other expenses from the transition.  Please mail all year-end donations to the Christian Associates address below. Please pray that God will bless every detail in this organizational transition.  We  believe it will help us to multiply to fruitfulness of the mission He has given us here. Network with multiple churches to pool resources for community outreach. Make tools like the Alpha Course, Celebrate Recovery, and KidzClubs accessible to people on a main street level.
